Episode 24: Jules Rosskam

Podcast Art for Season 2 Episode 24 with Jules Rosskam

After talking with Jules Rosskam, the director of the 2024 Sundance-premiered documentary DESIRE LINES, I just felt smarter: about filmmaking, how to use the medium to be a commentary on your story line, the specific reason he chose to create DESIRE LINES, trans storytelling, and almost everything about making an independent, uniquely creative film.

I imagine that's how his students feel at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County do as well: just blown away by the knowledge and thoughtfulness his work brings to the medium.

Check out Jules' socials to monitor when you can see the film: it's a singular experience that is unlike anything you've seen before.
